The first question
Is home physio right for you?
Or for Mum or Dad. If getting to a clinic is hard, or problems show up most at home (the stairs, the shower, the garden path), home physio is often the better choice.
Falls prevention & balance
Strength, balance and home-safety checks so you stay steady on your feet.
Rehab after surgery
Hip, knee and shoulder replacements, fractures, and getting home safely after hospital.
Muscle & joint pain
Back and neck pain, arthritis and ongoing aches, treated where they affect you most.
Mobility & independence
Walking, transfers, stairs and confidence, so everyday life gets easier again.
The practical question
Where do you visit?
Homes, retirement villages and aged care residences across Brisbane's southside, the Redlands and the Gold Coast. Travel is included across our core area. Type your suburb or postcode, or tap one below.

The trust question
Who will be coming to the house?
An experienced physiotherapist who takes the time to understand what matters to you.
Hi, I'm Yoshiki.
I started Cortis because physiotherapy makes the most sense where people actually live: their own stairs, their garden path, their favourite chair. I'll come to you, take the time to understand what matters, and build a plan around your home and your life.

Everything else
Other questions.
For most people it works well, with one big advantage: we practise on your own stairs, bathroom and garden path. Yoshiki brings the equipment needed, and if you ever need something only a clinic has, he'll tell you.
Not for private visits. Medicare needs a GP chronic condition plan referral, and DVA needs a referral from your GP, surgeon or hospital team. A Medicare care plan referral doesn't have to name us, so you can bring one you already have.
Yes. If your extras cover includes physiotherapy, we claim your rebate on the spot with HICAPS, so you only pay the gap.
It takes 60 minutes. We talk about your goals and health, check your movement and balance, look at your home set-up, start a few exercises and leave you with a written plan.
It depends on your goals. We agree a plan together with clear review points, so you always know where you're up to.
Yes. We visit retirement villages and residential aged care, and work alongside the care team.
Your medication list, your Medicare, DVA or NDIS details, any referral or hospital letters, comfortable clothes and a clear path to walk. Family are welcome to join.
Please give at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or move a visit. A visit cancelled with less notice, or missed because nobody is home, is charged at the full visit fee. NDIS and Support at Home visits follow their scheme's rule of 2 business days' notice, and are charged to your plan or provider as those rules allow. DVA and Medicare don't pay for a missed visit, so DVA and Medicare clients pay the fee themselves.
